Data analysis and strategy
Do you know where you can improve?
You probably have a good feeling about what could be improved, how your workspaces, parking spaces, bicycles, cars can be used more efficiently, how much customers are using them and where the demand is higher. However, to turn these ideas into concrete insights you need an objective view. Our data analysis and our advice can help you create the overview and give you new insights into how you can save and, above all, how you can grow.
We analyse the data for you and create a structure in which you build the knowledge that helps you improve your business. With years of experience with data analysis and business optimisation and a background in the aviation industry, we know exactly how data can be used to further improve operations.
The chance to improve
While our products are working for you, they store all relevant data on a daily basis. This data contains a wealth of information for you. They contain answers to questions such as: how are my work spaces or means of transport used? How can I allocate my resources more efficiently? How can I increase revenue and at the same time save costs? Our insights into these questions and more give you the opportunity to optimise your processes, approach the right customers and keep an overview of how business is going.
Monitoring of data
To regularly gain insight into the most important indicators of your operation, data monitoring is essential. We can provide you with insight into the most recent data through online dashboards. For example: how many items are reserved? What was my turnover? Where is it generated the most? With these daily insights you keep control over what happens and you get a better idea about where things can be done better.
In addition to what the data can tell us about the real world, data can also be used to control the management of systems. Through Machine Learning, part of the concept of AI, algorithms can be taught, among other things, to categorise and recognise patterns.
Advice and research
For insights that go beyond daily practice, we also conduct research and provide advice so that we can answer your biggest questions. We combine our academic background with a pragmatic view. This not only produces statistics from the data, but also tells you what it really means.
Fieldwork: understand the business dynamics in detail
Explore the raw data set
Collect and sort the relevant data
Test the hypotheses based on data
Verify the results in the operation
Create interesting insights
1. Fieldwork: understand the business dynamics in detail We start by understanding your business operations. Nothing can replace the real world, so we first get to know your operation, your employees and your customers in order to get a feel for the challenges of practice.
2. Explore the raw data set
Once we have got to know the practice, we will investigate the data set. We test it for validity and whether it is correct according to our common sense. If we are confident that the dataset is correct, we will break it up and explore it to generate interesting questions.
3. Build hypotheses
Due to the knowledge from the practice and what is found in the data, we sit down to draw up hypotheses. This gives us guidance on what we want to investigate and what we need to answer the questions.
4. Collect and sort the relevant data
The next step is data collection. We collect necessary information that we also need to answer our questions and test our hypotheses. We combine, sort and filter the different data sets in our analytics software so that we have a clean and relevant collection of data.
5. Test the hypotheses using data
Now we can test our hypotheses - generated on a subjective basis. Only the results of the data can objectively tell us whether they are correct or not.
6. Verify the results in the operation
Now we have results, but the moment of truth is to come. The results can say a lot, but do they also withstand in the real world? Before we draw conclusions, we first talk to the people who are closest to the business to verify the results. Can we convert our results into conclusions or do we need to refine our research?
7. Create interesting insights
The last step before we can communicate the results to you: We summarise everything in a clear report and data visualisations. This gives you the knowledge and insight so that you can take the next step.
